Weekly Stitching and Hippies

First up, the Hippies:

Have been de-hippified:

I know they feel better, but it took them a while to stop being mad at me.

This was a rough week all the way 'round and I didn't get to stitch at all until yesterday, so I only got two days worth of progress. I left off here last week:

And barely made it here:

I watched the "new" Once Upon A Time yesterday. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting, in fact it does have a bit of promise, but it made me realize that my favorite show, the show I've loved for 6 years is gone forever. Granted, it doesn't take much at all to make me cry like a baby these days, but it broke my heart and I bawled for quite a while over its loss. I miss Snow and Charming. Even though I never really liked Emma, I miss her and Hook together (the five minutes of screen time that Hook had was just pathetic). At least I have the old Blu-ray's to reminiscence over.

I wanted to put up some pics of our Penn trip last week, but like I said, it was a rough one. Here's hoping for next week.

Any stitching progress is a stitch in the right direction.

The pups look so cute! Have a great week!!
Not-so-fluffy-puppies now!
Sorry it was another rough week for you. Do I hear a Once marathon calling?
The puppies look adorable with their new fur-dos (ala hairdo). We watched the new Once this week, too. We liked it more than we thought we would. It has a different feel to it, but we kind of liked it. Of course, we loved seeing the different Seattle locations profiled since we've lived here our whole lives. It looks to me like you got quite a bit of progress made. I just wish I had more stitching time. Sending happy thoughts your way that this week will be better. Take care my Disney-loving-and-stitching buddy. Andrea

Your hippies are adorable Keiley. Great progress. My husband doesn't like the new Once show.

I'm sorry to hear your week wasn't that good, but you made some great progress for just two days! Your puppies look very neat now, so adorable.
I haven't watched Once upon a time in ages, since it's been pulled from amazon prime...I wonder what's going on there, but I guess I will fund out some day.

OMGoodness, they're so adorable!
The girls are coming along nicely.
I'm way behind on Once Upon a Time, so I stopped reading what you wrote!

The pups are adorable - I hope they have forgiven you now! Oh that's so annoying about Once; I'm thinking of not starting this new season as it feels like it will be a new show under the same title, if that makes sense? x

Happy 13th Blogoversary to the worst blogger ever!

Yep, I'm still here. This is the first time I've touched any blog in months. My focus has been in the "me" world. I have a new therapist and it's still early days, but I'm doing much better both mentally and physically. Work always sucks, so that's already a dead horse. And both pups are still hangin in there. My last post was probably the last time I stitched or at least my last Instragram post was. Maleficent still isn't framed, she's still in her ziploc baggie on the kitchen table. Bad me all around. I'm getting worse at this whole social media thing, what little I do. My job is tech burnout, so by the time I get home, the only tech I touch is my TV. The thought of creating a blog post or human communication in any way is just too much. I do have two vacations coming up, so that's exciting, right? I haven't felt like sharing, so very few people around me know about these. The first is a birthday trip to Boulder, j...

A to Z Challenge - B

PART 1 - JANE AUSTEN ALPHABET-COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BRANDON A much better hero than Edward Ferrars in my opinion PART 2 - MY DISNEY COLLECTION-BOOKS Obviously the age limit on books means very little to me: Do magazines count as books? Well, they are on the book row and they are Disney related, so there you go! There are several more shelves of these and they get more movement than anything else because their weight tends to kill bookshelves rather quickly. It helps to shuffle them around upon occasion to give the poor shelves a breather.

A to Z Reflections Post

I'm going to try not to be as wordy as previous years (but no promises). I did two challenges this year, my Jane Austen Alphabet Cross Stitch project, which is now complete: I haven't gotten it framed yet...heck, I still haven't gotten last year's framed either, so there is no telling when it will get done. Thanks to my friend Tiff for her suggestion of the blue fabric over the brown...she made the right choice I think! There is really nothing more to add on my second challenge, My Disney Collection, other than I have realized that my OCD apparently isn't strong enough to focus me in one particular direction. I like to think I have a Duck Room and a Princess/Villains room, but it's more like a Duck/Stitch/Parks room, a Mickey Bathroom, a Disney-themed kitchen, a living room filled with various objects, and a Princess and Villains bedroom. I don't think as a whole, they look so bad, it just looked a bit hoarderish when I divided them up into categori...
