Day 7 Highlights - Part 2: MNSSHP #2
Considering that I was already so close to the front of the park, it was just easier to go out and come back in again to get my Halloween Party wristband and I was glad the weather was still holding up:
Stitch had been "busy" graffiti-ing the hub construction walls:
Great sky over Tomorrowland:
The absolute hardest ride to get a picture on is Peter Pan due to it's speed, but I did manage a sort-of decent one:
We waited FOREVER at Be Our Guest for our dinner, so I got tons of pictures:
Unfortunately, we got stuck in the ballroom (my least favorite room to eat in because of the noise level). It was much harder to get a bunch on the inside because they rushed us through, but I got some:
Try the Grey Stuff...it's delicious!
Kate got her picture made with the Beast:
That's rain, not stars:
They had a free-preview of the new Haunted Mansion Store and I pretty much had tears in my eyes the entire time! It was surreal! It was hard to get a good pic because it was PACKED, so let's move on back outside because it's nighttime over the Haunted Mansion on a Halloween Party night and that's my favorite!:
Dr. Facillier was hanging out at Club Villain:
but I didn't stay long because it was fireworks time and I was too late to get a good viewing spot, but I got close:
Of course, as per usual, a kid was raised on shoulders in front of me, but this kid never watched the fireworks, he was playing games on a tablet the entire time! What a waste of blocked viewing space!
Daddy finally figured out that son wasn't paying attention and put him down (much to the joy of myself and those around me), but he never stopped playing his game:
Big Finale time:
I also managed an excellent spot for the Halloween Parade and FINALLY got a shot of the Headless Horseman:
the "other woman":
Pirates galore!
Ghoul time:
The Briar's dosey-doe-ing:
I found myself surprisingly excited to see Vanellope...I didn't even think I cared much for that movie!
The end...for a moving night parade, yet another great testament to the power of this little p&s camera:
I went back on Haunted Mansion and it slowed at the perfect spot:
Some more great night shots, most of which I was walking during...try that with a regular point and shoot camera!:
oh, and FYI, those are stars in the sky here. I decided to ride Pirates one more time and it got stuck for 45 minutes! Unfortunately, it didn't stick in a good spot, so there aren't a lot of good pictures:
So long Magic Kingdom! Always brings a tear to my eyes to say goodbye to MK.
