A to Z Interruptus 3 - Newish Stash
I think I've figured out that when my stitching mojo is lax, my stash mojo is in overdrive...I kind of went nuts the past couple of weeks.
It's been a very long time since Heaven and Earth Designs has had a 50% off sale, so I took advantage of the one this past week, almost cutting my wish list in half! Most of these are new artists to my stash, so I'm pretty excited about them. So without further ado, here are my newest acquisitions that will go in the never-ending stash pile:
Chris Ortega - The Darkest Hour
Josephine Wall - Libra
Janna Prosvirina - In The Shadow
Michael Hayes - Fallen Angel
Jasmine Becket-Griffith - Gargoyles of Notre Dame
Aimee Stewart - Supersized Max Colors Museum Shelf
I bought my first Chatelaine Designs, the Scotland Mandala, but I'm not sure I'll ever stitch it! It calls for several hundred dollars worth of supplies and it looks INCREDIBLY difficult! I just don't think I'm a good enough stitcher yet for one of these. I think I need to try a Mirabilia first. But anyway, here's the Scotland Mandala:
I've also been hitting Etsy VERY hard lately. I had several patterns from Neni Design on my wishlist for quite a while, and when she listed a 10 for $10 sale (which, BTW, as of this post is still happening), I jumped at the chance not once, but twice! After comparing some of her charts to some I have already bought from other sellers, I decided I think that Neni's are better, so I bought her versions as well. I got repeats of some of the Stained Glass Bookmarks:
And The Stained Glass Collage:
But I also got some new ones, including this Lilo and Stitch one that I think I'm going to start once I have Rainy Wedding cleared out:
And the rest including the blue Cheshire Cat which makes me think of Stephen Fry which makes me smile:
I also bought three of her princess series:
Not all of them were Disney-themed though:
I have it in my mind that I'm going to make his glasses purple:
Since I was on a roll, I decided to do a BOGO Sale from Stitch Line and got these two:
(I'm not going to growth chart it though)
If that wasn't enough, I picked up a long-wishlisted item, Sleeping Beauty by Scarlett Stitches:
Yet another Stitch, this one from Lets Make Crafts:
And lastly (bet you thought I'd NEVER get there), a long debated one, Duran Duran Lollipop from Spirit Wulffe:
There really should be a good Duran chart out there, but this was the only decent one I've ever found although I'm not sure how I feel about it, hence all the debating. This one is going to get a bit of editing...since Simon and John stand a good foot taller than the other guys, I think I'm going to add a couple of rows to both their legs.
I think I have reigned myself in now, so hopefully my stash won't grow anymore. I now have enough for five lifetimes and, since I'm not a cat, I guess it's time to quit (unless an absolutely amazing pattern becomes available that I just can't life without).

Saturday must have been "stash-adding day". I bought several new patterns, lots of floss and fabric yesterday, too.
