Finally!

I fully intended to finish the row this weekend but, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't finish it. So I took the same attitude for Monday, also to no avail. Now, at the very end of Tuesday, I can officially say I finished the row! Backtracking a bit...here is last Monday's finish: Here is the end of the row as of tonight: And here it is total: Only two rows left and I'm done! Here I go with another intention...I fully intend to finish her by the end of the year.

More stitch work

Didn't do much last week other than work, work, work with a bit of stitching in-between, so I spent most of the weekend doing nothing but stitching! Started Monday here: And ended here last night: I probably could have gotten a bit farther, but I had to watch last night's Once Upon A Time about twelve times and I couldn't get back into stitching once I finally calmed myself. The OCD has to be directed somewhere now that there's not a definite Disney trip on the horizon, Hook and Emma have my undivided attention!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

Been a while since I've done this, but I guess it's time to get back into normal routines! 1. What's your favorite time of day? Why? Definitely night time! I am NOT a morning person and the more the day goes on, the more alive I become (and the harder it gets for me to sleep). 2. Waffle iron, toaster, coffee maker, mixer, blender...which small appliance would you say most needs replacing in your house? Never had a waffle iron, rarely use the mixer or blender, and can't stand the smell of coffee, so no coffee maker. The toaster is all that is left! It's pretty old and ugly anyway and cheap enough to easily replace (but I don't because it never really gets used either). 3. It's National Grouch Day (October 15)...what's something that makes you feel grouchy? Dealing with people. 4. Ever been to Canada? Is that a country you'd like to visit? According to Trip Advisor, the top ten best destinations in Canada are-Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal...

Disney and Weight

The one area of Disney that I can speak about at this point is how different it is going with a normal body weight versus going as my usual fat self. I have never been thin and never will be, but I am smaller than I have ever been (even if I packed it on a bit during vacation), and it made a noticeable difference on my trip. Here's my top 5 most-improved Disney experiences being smaller: 5 - Not having to turn sideways to get through turnstiles 4 - Much easier to get in and out of rides 3 - People not looking at your weird for ordering fattening foods 2 - I could stand on a moving bus with no problems 1 - No foot pain or swelling in any way And my top 5 least-improved Disney experiences being smaller: 5 - Having people smush me on buses rather than me doing the smushing 4 - Roller coaster ride bruises (aka Rock-n-Roller Coaster) way bigger 3 - Harder to sit on concrete or benches because no butt padding 2 - More clothes available in large vs 2xl and not being able to...

A Stitchy Week

I have been drowning myself in stitching to avoid the obvious...vacation is over. It's back to work tomorrow, back to my sucky day-to-day life of nothingness. Without a Disney trip on the horizon, I feel like I have absolutely no purpose on this earth. I'm in that awkward stage where I can't stop thinking about Disney, but I can't deal with post-trip details...aka editing pictures, finding places for new items, etc. At this stage, I wonder why I put myself through it all in the first place. Is a week of pleasure worth the months of planning and the months of depression that follows? Right now, I can't say, but enough blaa, let's get on with the stitching progress. The Princess And The Pea as of the beginning of the week: and as of tonight:

Zachary Binx

Today is a very important day because my oldest baby boy turned 14 years old (in human years, not puppy) and he deserves his props! It seems like only yesterday he came into our house as a baby: And even if his face is older, he's still my baby boy: Although baby Bammers thinks it's hilarious his brother is an old codger! But they still love each other (even if they only show it when they think I'm not looking): Happy Puppy-Birthday Zachariah, and here's to many more!!! The Post-Disney Depression is really bad this time and Kate left to go back home to England today, so my mood hasn't been the best for blogging, but celebrating my babykins birth was enough to at least bring me out of funk-town enough to give him a shout out. I can't say when I'll feel like continuing the Disney Reviews (I can't even look at the pictures right now and all my new pins still live in the bag I brought them back in), but my stitching mojo is kicking into high g...
