Disney Reviews: Shopping Edition #6 - Main Street Emporium
The Main Street Emporium is a lot of like the World of Disney store in that it is huge and carries almost everything, but that is pretty much where the similarities end. the Emporium takes up the entire left side of Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom:
And I've always loved the numerous window displays:
They very much look like individual stores from the outside, but inside, they are all interconnected with archways between each section. Each section does have it's own theme, from toys, to little kids, to adult clothes, etc. The right side of Main Street is individual shops, from the Confectionary to the Jewelers to even a Starbucks, so, of course, they all have their own themes as well, but the Emporium has of those great "look up" decorations (that change seasonally) from Christmas time:
Lamp time:
To Halloween time:
Am trying on a hat:
This is probably the best "everything" store in the Magic Kingdom. Epcot has a sister store in Mouse Gear (which we will cover at some point). Neither one of these is World of Disney size, but they are massive and have some amazing things!
