Almost Blogoversary, so let's try a giveaway!

I can't believe another year has gone by! I know I've been a crappy blogger lately and an even crappier stitcher, but as long as my head is stuck in Disney World, it's probably gonna stay that way for a while! Plus, I've been having laptop probs of late and I'm in the process of a complete reformat, so I'm sort of off-line for now anyway.

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments concerning my scattered brain's hectic Disney obsession! Speaking of my brain...Ferg-id got his annual peek-a-boo this week. I'm still waiting to hear the official word from the doc, but it looks like little dude is hangin in there:
Unfortunately, as long as he stays stable, he gets to keep "living off the land", so to speak. I'd much prefer he be unceremoniously ejected from the stadium for bad behavior, but that's not my choice to make (although, since it is my head, it should be). Maybe I'll toss him around a bit on Mission Space! If you can't remove it, kick it around a bit!!

I do have yet another Disney idea for a blog series...but I'm torn as to whether or not to go ahead. Part of me thinks I've rambled about Disney enough, but then I remember this is, after all, MY blog and I can ramble about Disney all I want! Once I get my laptop back in tip-top shape, maybe I'll re-address it then. But for the meantime...

HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY (in two days) TO ME!! So how about we have my first ever giveaway! I have an overabundance of "extra" Disney pins from my last trip (I have the worst time remembering which ones I already have) and they would make a good prize I think! So, here's the question:

How many times, with family or solo has Keebles been to Disney World?

I don't know if I've ever said the "actual number", but each trip has been referenced at many different points throughout my posts and there are other places to look (i.e. my Flickr page for instance, hint, hint). This will NOT include the two upcoming trips, but trips I have completed. Pick at random or research your best guess, post in the comments of this blog post, and, lets say on next Friday, September 6th, I'll see how many correct answers there are. If there are too many winners, I'll draw amongst them, but if not, then every winner will get a random assortment of about three or four Disney pins a piece...that sound good to anyone? If there is only one winner, I might double the prize! If there are no winners, I'll do a random drawing amongst all the entries and give away the same number of pins. If nobody tries, then I guess the pins will stay in my closet for another year!

So get your entries in and good luck!!

I'd like to say 15, since you're such a big Disney fan! Count me in - and congratulations! :)
I am a huge Disney fan myself and I've been there more times than I can even count.

So, if I had to venture a wild guess (since my LO isn't allowing me to do much web surfing today), I would guess 35 trips.

There is just something so unbelievably wonderful about Disney. My family would happily live there is we could! I imagine you feel the same. =)

I will take a stab at it and say that you have been 23 times.
My family and I went to DisneyLand last year in April and it was wonderful. It was the first trip for my hubby and daughter and now they can't wait to go back!

I would love to go to Disney-anything. I will go one day just have to save and actually leave the UK.

I'm going to guess you've been 13 times (fave number :-D)

Happy 13th Blogoversary to the worst blogger ever!

Yep, I'm still here. This is the first time I've touched any blog in months. My focus has been in the "me" world. I have a new therapist and it's still early days, but I'm doing much better both mentally and physically. Work always sucks, so that's already a dead horse. And both pups are still hangin in there. My last post was probably the last time I stitched or at least my last Instragram post was. Maleficent still isn't framed, she's still in her ziploc baggie on the kitchen table. Bad me all around. I'm getting worse at this whole social media thing, what little I do. My job is tech burnout, so by the time I get home, the only tech I touch is my TV. The thought of creating a blog post or human communication in any way is just too much. I do have two vacations coming up, so that's exciting, right? I haven't felt like sharing, so very few people around me know about these. The first is a birthday trip to Boulder, j...

A to Z Challenge - B

PART 1 - JANE AUSTEN ALPHABET-COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BRANDON A much better hero than Edward Ferrars in my opinion PART 2 - MY DISNEY COLLECTION-BOOKS Obviously the age limit on books means very little to me: Do magazines count as books? Well, they are on the book row and they are Disney related, so there you go! There are several more shelves of these and they get more movement than anything else because their weight tends to kill bookshelves rather quickly. It helps to shuffle them around upon occasion to give the poor shelves a breather.

A to Z Reflections Post

I'm going to try not to be as wordy as previous years (but no promises). I did two challenges this year, my Jane Austen Alphabet Cross Stitch project, which is now complete: I haven't gotten it framed yet...heck, I still haven't gotten last year's framed either, so there is no telling when it will get done. Thanks to my friend Tiff for her suggestion of the blue fabric over the brown...she made the right choice I think! There is really nothing more to add on my second challenge, My Disney Collection, other than I have realized that my OCD apparently isn't strong enough to focus me in one particular direction. I like to think I have a Duck Room and a Princess/Villains room, but it's more like a Duck/Stitch/Parks room, a Mickey Bathroom, a Disney-themed kitchen, a living room filled with various objects, and a Princess and Villains bedroom. I don't think as a whole, they look so bad, it just looked a bit hoarderish when I divided them up into categori...
