Weekly Stitching

I was pretty darn sick for most of the week, so I didn't get any stitching done during the week, but I did OK this weekend. I left off here last week:

And came close to finishing Sleeping Beauty tonight:

You can't tell, but I used almost an entire spindle of Petite Treasure Braid on her arms! It slowed me down quite a bit, but I'm still really into this piece, so I'm going to continue at least one more week (maybe two). I'd really like to finish the row before I switch out, but if work doesn't get any better, that could take me a month or so. I guess it will depend on where the mood takes me.

Fantastic progress! I hope that means you're feeling better. Do you use PTB instead of the charted Kreinik? Or do they recommend PTB now?
Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well :( Hope you are on the mend now! Great progress!

Hope you're feeling better now. It's a beautiful piece.
I love seeing your work. May I ask a couple of questions: Do you grid with a pencil or with stitches? Also it looks like you used shearing scissors on your edges-does this mean you don't have to stich or tape up the sides to keep the cloth from unraveling? I hate both and was thinking of using hemming tape on my cloth-but using shearing scissors may be better. Thanks!

A whole spool? Wow! How big is this piece?

I'm sure it won't take you too long to reach the end of the row! You're a whippet compared to most people I know that stitches
