Finished wall

I know I tend to be a broken record, but work still sucks, but there is a brief glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. My massive work project is almost finished and it's also almost Disney-time, so meds or not, life is looking up. But knowing my luck, I'm not going to get too optimistic.

I finally got all my April A to Z cross stitch projects framed and put them on a wall where there is room to grow:

And here they are in order:

I still haven't done any stitching, but I have FINALLY finished a massive diamond painting:

Granted, it's not the Aaron's Crazy Thinking Putty that the therapist wanted me to do, but at least I managed to keep my hands and my mind occupied in my "down time" instead of focusing on the negative. Don't get me wrong, I still have a head full of negative, but at least I'm managing it better.

I really need to say thank you to all my blog friends who encouraged me to make it through. Normally, I'm not big on human interaction during these episodes, but you guys really did help me along. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon and I can go back to supporting you guys!

Great to see those finishes on the wall, excellent placement and good idea you have room to grow there. That is a serious work of art on diamond painting, wow! Congrats on sticking through the end and glad things are moving along work-wise. Finger crossed you continue in okay mode through Disney.

Your A to Z pieces look good all together and I really like the frames you used. The four season tree is gorgeous - well done seeing it through. you're doing fine - just one foot in front of the other until you get through the tunnel.

Great to see your finishes on the wall and nice to see you have been keeping your hands and mind busy too! What a beautiful work :)
Have a great time during your Disney trip.

Your finishes look great displayed together like that. Glad to see there is room for more too.
Your diamond painting looks amazing!
Good therapy for your hands I'm sure.
I Googled that crazy putty stuff. As far as I could tell it's exactly the same as child's putty but with cutesy packaging and a huge price tag! Crafting is much better for the soul if not the Pocket.
Hope you have a fabulous trip.

your painting is breathtaking!!! Love all your A to Z designs. I may have to join in that this year...hmmmm......just thinking on your blog.
Your A-Z pieces look amazing on the wall! I bet you can just stand and look at them for hours.
I did see a counsellor a few times following a bit of a family crisis and I really liked the idea that someone was being paid to listen to me drone on and on about my problems without trying to cheer me up, like my friends did! But she didn't advise me to play with any sort of putty.
A new word a day could be fun, you could learn a new expletive to call her each session!

Fabulous job on the A-Z wall and congrats on the massive diamond painting! Those still fascinate me and I'm sure it won't be long until I finally get one to do.
