A to Z Challenge - F

PART 1 - JANE AUSTEN ALPHABET-CAPTAIN FREDRICK WENTWORTH

Austen Alphabet06
Where most people worship Darcy, I am a Captain Wentworth supporter all the way!

PART 2 - MY DISNEY COLLECTION-FAN ART

There is a lot of Disney fan art in the world, but I'm pretty picky on that front. If you follow my stitching, it's obvious I'm a Jasmine Becket-Griffith fan, so it makes sense that I would love her Disney pieces. I'm the process of framing them to make a wall of her (with my stitches), but as of now, they are just sitting in my duck room waiting:
Disney F-01
I have quite a large collection of Larry Dotson prints (I buy at least one at every Disney World visit and ironically, no matter what time of year I go, he seems to always be there signing his work). I used to have a wall of them, but when it turned into two walls and was about to take up a third, I decided to store them in a safe place instead (there aren't a lot of walls in trailers to begin with). Here's a sample of the parks and resorts pieces I have:
Disney F-02
I also LOVE the Disney character sketches you can buy at Disney World (or Disneyland). They have artists in residence who will draw the sketch of your choice, but keep in mind how many characters you pick. One character is $35, two is $65, etc. I remember arguing incessantly with an artist during one trip because I wanted Maleficent, but Diablo was on her shoulder and they were charging $65. Needless to say, I ended up paying the $65. I used to have them on the wall as well, but when they started to fade and turn yellow, I ended up buying portfolios to store them in.
Disney F-03
Last year when we went to Disneyland for the first time, I started collecting art post cards, and I've continued the tradition on my most recent Disney World trip:
Disney F-04
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but for now they live with all my other prints in a box.

Oh, and as an added bonus (and I can't believe I forgot this), a picture my Grandmother drew in 1938 of Donald Duck:

Gorgeous! I love all of the Disney art. We're currently thinking about a mad tea party canvas piece. My hubby's friend has the jbg tightrope walker and I pointed it out to her when we visited them :)
