A to Z Challenge - B

PART 1 - JANE AUSTEN ALPHABET-COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BRANDON

Austen Alphabet02
A much better hero than Edward Ferrars in my opinion

PART 2 - MY DISNEY COLLECTION-BOOKS

Disney B-01

Disney B-02
Obviously the age limit on books means very little to me:
Disney B-03
Do magazines count as books? Well, they are on the book row and they are Disney related, so there you go!
Disney B-05
There are several more shelves of these and they get more movement than anything else because their weight tends to kill bookshelves rather quickly. It helps to shuffle them around upon occasion to give the poor shelves a breather.

Nice stitching Keiley. I love your book and magazine collection. Do you ever read them? I've got a couple booklets that I bought 30+ years ago at Disneyland. They kinda highlighted some of the park rides and stuff.

That's a lot of books, but they add up to a wonderful collection. I agree with you about Colonel Brandon.

I sympathise with your shelves, I really do. The problem with moving the boks around, though, is maintaining the ordering, so you can always find a book immediately when you want it.

I am currently finding the convenience of a Kindle preferable to the bulk of books, but you can't just look at an electronic reader and love its contents, can you?

That is a serious Disney book collection!! :)
Great stitching too
Lovely cross stitch :) We bought new shelves at the end of 2014 because ours were all bending - they're Swedish made and a grown person can hand off them - it's the only way they don't die under the weight :). I imagine a few get read every time you have to rearrange? That's what always distracts me when trying to deal with books.
