A to Z Challenge - A

Welcome to April and the A to Z Blogging Challenge! This year I'm continuing on with two challenge posts, but I'm going to combine them in one to help with length. I'm not known for my brevity, so we'll see how I do but, of course, this first one is going to be longer due to necessary descriptions. I'm also HORRIBLE at grammar, so please forgive me. But enough of this chit-chat, yik-yak and flim-flam and let's get on with the show!

PART 1 - JANE AUSTEN ALPHABET-MISS ANNE ELLIOT
For this section, I'm just going to show progress pictures of each day's character and a brief comment instead of adding the lengthy commentary I had initially decided to do. I figured that if you're interested in this, you are either a stitcher or an Austen fan, and neither category needs any backstory. If you're not a fan of either, then it would be useless words anyway. Thanks a million to FanGirl Stitches for yet another amazing cross stitch pattern design!
Austen Alphabet01
My favorite Austen heroine because we are very similar in a lot of ways (well, other than the hottie naval captain waiting in the wings).

PART 2 - MY DISNEY COLLECTION-ANTENNA TOPPERS

For this section, the descriptions are a bit necessary and I'll try to curb my OCD and Asperger's down a notch to make them short, but no promises!
Disney A-01
I like to keep all of mine together, hence the "flower" arranging of them (in this town, they would get stolen if I actually used them on my car, not that I would anyway). I really need a bigger "pot" (I just haven't found the right one yet), but thankfully the chopsticks I mount them on are readily available due to my penchant for take out food. Oh, the backside isn't as pretty, but here it is too:
Disney A-02
I'm not crafty, so if anyone has a better way to display these, let me know in the comments!

I like the bouquet arrangement but you could look at cake pop stands.

Oooh I like your stitching choice, your posts are going to be fun!!!
Wow, I love those antenna topers!! Only seen the classic MM ears but nothing else. I would go mad for the Toy Story set but like you, wouldn't dare leave this on my car... It's a great display idea, I wouldn't change it :)

Great arrangement for your antenna toppers! No ideas on how to arrange them differently, I think they look great as they are :)

What an awesome antenna ball collection! So many and I see a lot of characters I recognize there! Cute idea with the crossstitch. :)

Love the toppers!! What is Anne holding?? A shawl???

I think the flower-style arrangement is perfect. It also keeps them all together, tidily; far better than having them in drawers, on sides or stuffed into a compartment in your car.
