Disneyland In Pictures - Day 3 Part 1

Well, by day 3, one of us had trouble getting up early enough to beat the crowds (not me), so we usually ran into this first thing:
2015-1621
2015-1623
At least with the long lines I had plenty of time to snap pics of the pumpkins, especially the Donald one (I was still trying to be positive at that point):
2015-1637
I tell ya, I often complain about finger scans and magic bands, but after going back to tickets, I was missing those swift little bands! But I think the masked Mickey made up for it:
2015-1645
And since I had already seen the castle, it was time to finally get a shot of the fire station (although I apparently didn't do a very good job at straightening my pics):
2015-1655
I know that Disney World and Disneyland both have Main Streets, but I felt like I was in a different world! Other than the basic shape, there was really no similarity to the two at all!
2015-1659
We headed over to Indiana Jones and luckily the crowds hadn't gotten too big yet, but because the line was so empty, I had to walk fast and didn't get too many good shots of going in:
2015-1682
Or of the queue area:
2015-1693
Overall, when it was all said and done, I just felt like I had just ridden Animal Kingdom's Dinosaur ride with an Indy theme. Yes, I know they are programmed to the same track, but I thought the scenery might be enough to make it seem different. I prefer Dinosaur.

We wandered around Adventureland for a while and then headed over to Tomorrowland and since the queue for Space Mountain was also short, headed that way:
2015-1716
I much prefer Disneyland's Space Mtn queue to Disney World's. It was better laid out and not nearly as dark on the inside:
2015-1721
2015-1719
As with Pirates, I MUCH prefer Disneyland's Space Mtn ride too. We call WDW's Whiplash Mtn, but this was one of the smoothest roller coasters I've ever been on. Since we were already in Tomorrowland, we headed over to Star Tours:
2015-1727
And, as per usual, I ended up on Endor...even though there are dozens of variations of rides, I ALWAYS end up on Endor and now that I have come halfway around the world and go to a completely different Star Tours...back on Endor I go! UGH! Needless to say, we didn't ride it again. I did keep an eye out though for all the food planted in Tomorrowland:
2015-1740
2015-1741
I also had plenty of time to discover some hidden details around the bathrooms on the way to Fantasyland:
2015-1750
2015-1752
And a litterbug hit the Cheshire Cat, can you see? Why do people do that?
2015-1755
I managed a few ride snaps as we walked around:
2015-1758
2015-1759
2015-1762
But somebody was complaining about hunger (not me), so off we went in search of food. Unfortunately, my shortsightedness bit me in the butt here because I don't eat breakfast myself, so I didn't scope out good breakfast places. In the end, all I could think of was the fruit cart in ToonTown. This was apparently not what he calls breakfast, so I ate fruit by myself:
2015-1764
We ended up in Frontierland where he got a turkey leg and then got happier, even practically licking the bones (I've never seen anybody eat an entire turkey leg before). I have pictures, but I don't really care to share them. I wandered around a bit and got pics of Zocalo Park. Normally I'm not a fan of bright colors, but I really loved it here:
2015-1787
2015-1783
We headed over to Big Thunder Mtn next, and although I think it was smaller than Disney World's, I think I prefer this one more because it's themed better...you don't see this in the queue area at WDW:
2015-1798
I managed an artsy shot or two on the way out:
2015-1826
And back to Fantasyland we went:
2015-1847
Where we rode both Pinnochio (a ride we never had at WDW) and Snow White's Scary Adventures (which we just recently lost). I will admit though, Fantasyland in Disneyland is WAY prettier than WDW's...we NEVER had the Evil Queen looking down at us:
2015-1865
I had to go though a bit of abuse by other guests to get this shot...no one watches where they walk there! Then it was on to Mr. Toad, which I haven't ridden since I was a kid. To be honest, it was so fast, I didn't really see too much of it.
2015-1885
Then we walked back around the castle where I took dozens of pictures from the standard tourist shots:
2015-1930
To the artsy ones:
2015-1939
We wandered around there quite a bit, before we headed back to New Orleans Square to ride Pirates again and to be in the right location for lunch at Cafe Orleans. I think I'll start here tomorrow...this is stretching on a bit long.

Great start of the day's photos and it was worth the extra effort to get the shot of the Evil Queen, nice and creepy.
