Stitching

Well, another week down and I only worked Maleficent (once again). I keep saying how much I hate this project, but this is the third week in a row that I've worked on nothing but. We didn't have Needle Club because of the snow storm, so poor Rainy Wedding is still sitting all alone on my office room floor, waiting for attention. I'm at a weird spot with Alice and the B's, Rapunzel's eye, and I haven't been too keen on working on that either. I guess Maleficent has been the lesser of the evils.

Maleficent started here this week:

And is now here for a total of 87.9 hrs total:

Having a snow day off work sucked because I lost a day of vacation, but it was great for stitching. And you can't tell from the picture, but I've finally started on a color that is NOT a dark blue or black shade (it's really dark in my house and hard to get good pics, so you'll just have to trust me).

Tomorrow begins hell on earth for me. Satan invented daylight savings time, you can't make me believe anything else. I don't know how much stitching I will be getting done this week because I am anticipating numerous headaches. Hopefully, the warmer weather and my plan to finally start exercising will help, but any time spent exercising means less time stitching.

I'm so glad I don't deal with daylight savings! Awesome stitching. You can see the lighter blue starting to come through.

Well done for sticking with it! She's going to look amazing I'm sure. I prefer British Summer Time but I don't like the change over.

It's looking amazing! I think I'm seeing colour variation too, although yes, cameras/monitors can be tricky. I hope the headaches will be less than you expect.

Wow, that sucks that snow days come out of your vacation time, I had no idea.

Maleficent is coming along really well, I know you dislike it, but it really will be worth it in the end. JBG eyes are pretty confetti heavy, but they do look awesome when stitched.

We don't switch to BST until the end of March, although it doesn't really bother me, I just find the switching irritating!
