Disney Reviews: Shopping Edition #5 - Basin

This is another one of those "what took her so long to get here?" posts! Anyone that knows me personally, knows I WORSHIP bath bombs in all their forms, but none more so than those that come from Basin! From ones with Mickey Heads in them, to ones with Pirate treasure or Princess gifts or even a mini bath jungle, there is something for everyone here!

Located in the Marketplace at Downtown Disney (directly behind the Ghirardelli store):

2013 (10)-0230

I do actually even have shots from the inside (after the remodel):

2012-0486

Over the past couple of years, I've finally started branching out and trying other products of theirs (not just the bombs). Some have been hits, some have been misses, but I now can't imagine life without the Bamboo Charcoal facial soap bar because my skin has never looked better because of it (and I must restock this trip...my poor bar is looking slim). There is always an overabundance of bombs in my house though (that sounds ominous) and I particularly like the Patchouli Sandalwood (and the therapy is good too). You can buy them online, but where is the fun in that? Besides, I used to love the Ghirardelli store until our local Target started carrying Ghirardelli chocolate and now the novelty has worn off and I rarely even go in there anymore.

What most people don't know is that there are actually two Basin stores on property, the main store Downtown and a Basin White located in the Grand Floridian Resort (aka, the Indian Burial Ground Resort). I do love the Basin White scent (which is only available at the Basin White store), but it's one that only gets visited when we do tea at the GF because I'm not a big fan of that place (because of the Indian Burial Ground vibes). Apparently though, the best picture I have of it is across the lobby:

(that's it on the second floor behind those ladies - I know...hard to see and not what I was shooting at).
